01Course and sensory territory
Supplies much of the lower leg and foot through tibial and common fibular divisions.
02Motor supply
Hamstrings and most muscles below the knee; the short head of biceps femoris has fibular-division supply.
03Localization clues
Fibular-division involvement is often more prominent and may resemble an isolated foot drop.
04Combine the studies
Combine fibular/tibial motor, sural/superficial fibular sensory and selected hamstring, tibialis posterior, gluteal and paraspinal muscles.
